THE HALLS
Jeff and Kayla came home.
After years owning a barbecue restaurant in Colorado, Jeff and Kayla Hall knew it was time to bring it back to Liberal. They opened BrickHouse in June 2020 in a brick building near the train station downtown.
Not a chain. Not a concept. A real place — slow-smoked meat, family-recipe sides, cold beer on tap, and a room you can take the in-laws to.
The goal is simple: be the first name anyone in Southwest Kansas mentions when someone asks where to eat.
HOW WE COOK
Smoke first. Everything else follows.
14 hours over post oak
Brisket goes in the night before. We pull it when it's ready.
Salt, pepper, time
No shortcuts on the meat. The sides earn their place the same way — family recipes, made here.
Open seven days
Lunch and dinner. Later on weekends. Walk in, order online, or call ahead for pickup.
